Issues
Hiram Lewis believes West Virginia needs responsible
leadership
in the Attorney General's office.
1.        Work to Stop lawsuit abuse.  

2.        End the “shake-down” tactics of the current AG.  

3.        Terminate contingent fee arrangements with private firms.

4.        Open hiring practices to public scrutiny.

5.        End the practice of appointing Special Assistant Attorneys General.

6.        Submit all contracts to an open bidding process.

7.        Submit the entire Attorney General’s budget to the Legislature.

8.        Focus the Consumer Protection Division entirely on protecting consumers.  

9.        Focus on prosecuting criminals.

10.      Eliminate wasteful spending.
